Haiti
―
Our partners in Haiti are dedicated to raising a generation of believers who are followers of Jesus and will be leaders of the nation. They are training children and teenagers in the Bible along with workable skills. They are committed to providing education and training to the upcoming generation to enable them to be self-sufficient and productive as citizens in a country who has no hope apart from turning to Jesus.
What we’ve accomplished:
1.
2.
Partnership with Maison orphanage to provide practical and discipleship needs
Partnership with Bondye Kapab, a ministry for rural families and children. They provide educational sponsorships for those who would otherwise not receive an education, meals for families, parental mentorship, and after-school enrichment programs. This ministry meets very tangible, physical needs while sharing the truth of the gospel with the families and children.
3.
4.
Supported the development of Mackenson, who served as an intern for Maison Orphanage in Port au Prince and now serves as an intern for Bondye Kapab in the countryside outside of Port-au-Prince. He has been identified by our partners in Haiti and leaders of other missions organizations as a young man who has experienced being rescued by the Lord from the most destitute situation, to a place where his vision is to spread the hope and practical life skills to other young men.
Partner with Christian school Faith Academy in Marble Falls, TX to sponsor 28 children to attend school in Port-au-Prince during the 2022-2023 school year.
What’s on the horizon:
Establish a Young Men's Discipleship Program functioning to provide housing, mentoring, and job skills to those young men aging out of the orphanage
1.
Grow internship opportunities for young Christian leaders
2.
3.
Bibles in both written and audio form
